WAM Theatre Ensemble

Join WAM Theatre’s 2019 inter-generational ensemble on a multi-faceted journey through their dreams. This new work is the culmination of two weeks of intensive creation by teens and elders from across the Berkshires.

The ensemble creates original performance using devised theatre methods. Devised theatre is a collaborative process where an ensemble uses a variety of techniques– writing, improvisation, games, movement, brainstorming, and more– to create original performance material.

WAM Theatre was co-founded in 2010 by Canadian director, actor, educator, and producer Kristen van Ginhoven to create professional theatrical events for everyone, with a focus on women theatre artists and/or stories of women and girls.
