For this week’s Manger! Boire! night we’re giving you an evening inspired by one of many of ours’ favorite drinks: coffee (hold the caffeine!) Our theme will include a Mushroom “Cappuccino”: a creamy, foamy and intense Mushroom Soup, a trompe l’oeil, resembling a cappuccino. After will be a Filet of Sole Roulade served with Coffee-roasted Parsnips; and finally our fantasy: a Thomas Keller dessert made famous at The French Laundry: Coffee and Doughnuts, Cappuccino Semifreddo with Cinnamon Sugar Beignets. Our dinner hour event requires that we avoid caffeine for the preparations involving coffee, but the fun and the flavors will be there!
