The Clark Art Institute Presents Free Outdoor Summer Concerts07/03/2012
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA—The Clark continues its tradition of presenting free family-friendly outdoor summer concerts on Tuesdays in July beginning at 6:00 pm. On July 3 The Eagles Band—the oldest continuing performing band in the Berkshires—will present a musical celebration of Independence Day. Next up on July 10 is Misty Blues—an exciting band that infuses classic blues sounds with rock and folk songs. On July 17 the bluegrass band Banjo Dan and the Mid-nite Plowboys—known for their energy, variety, and humor—will perform. The series concludes on July 24 with the Latin guitar world fusion band Incendio.
Barbecue fare will be available for purchase, and the galleries will remain open for visitors until 6:00 pm. In the event of rain, concerts will be held in the auditorium. The summer band concert series is sponsored by Williamstown Savings Bank.
