Horse Drawn Carriage Rides through Scenic Lee The Lee Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Berkshire Hospitality Industry and Angel Mist Farm, is thrilled to announce Horse Drawn Carriage Rides through a scenic downtown beginning Saturday July 10, from 11 am to 3 pm.
Rides leave every half hour from the Lee Information Booth (3 Park Street). Cost is $20.00 Per Person/$35 Per Couple. Couples may also opt to reserve the entire carriage for a $15 surcharge. A portion of the price benefits the Chamber’s ongoing Beautification and Marketing projects, such as the Summer season flower baskets and holiday light display. SculptureNow in Lee 2010
SculptureNow is pleased to present SculptureNow in Lee 2010, a juried exhibition of 15 large-scale, outdoor sculpture on Park Street & Main Street, Lee, MA. June 12–October 31, 2010. In celebration of the 50th. Anniversary of the Hancock Shaker Village the theme for this year’s show is the Shakers, their culture, philosophy, architecture and objects. Earlier in the year a group of sculptors visited Hancock Shaker Village and came away inspired. Their contemporary interpretations of “Borrowed Light”, “Separate but Equal” living, Circle Dancers, Shaker Boxes,Mitten Patterns, Chairs and Tools, can be viewed on the lawns along Park Street & Main Street in Lee.
